Ronda Rousey's Ex Says She Only Wants A Guy Who'll 'Take A Backseat' In The Relationship

Uproxx – UFC commentator Joe Rogan spoke with Rousey’s ex-boyfriend, a man named Brendan Schaub. For those of you unfamiliar, Schaub is a regular on Joe Rogan’s podcast and a UFC heavyweight. He hasn’t fought in quite some time. In fact, his last fight came in December of 2014, a TKO loss to Travis Browne.

Now that you have some idea of who he is, allow him to weigh in on his relationship with Ronda Rousey and whether the two would get back together.

“I did her a favor, man. I’m not the guy for the job. I’m not, man. I’m too much (of a man). She needs a guy who’s gonna take a backseat. She also needs a guy who’s gonna say, ‘Yes, ma’am. Yes, ma’am.’ She’s surrounded by people that worship her and go, ‘Yes, yes, that’s a great idea.’ But when I went, ‘That’s not a good idea,’ now I’m a hater.”

Rogan, who is friendly with Rousey, stopped the conversation there: “I don’t think we should have this conversation out of respect for her because she can’t defend herself.”

I’m sure there’s more to the story than Brendan Schaub saying something is a bad idea and Ronda Rousey immediately dumping him over text for not worshipping her like Jim Jones but even if that is the case, who would blame her? She’s been in the public eye for a few years and is one of if not the most influential female athletes on Earth in the last few decades. If any chick deserves a dude who just carries her bags, it’s Ronda Rousey. She’s a hot woman who is becoming famous and rich beyond 99% of the male population and for the other 1% she’s legitimately badass enough that she could probably snap their arm in half if she so chose. There’s something inherently emasculating about dating her and you’re a fool if you’re lucky enough to get on the gravy train and try to expect otherwise. Let her pick what to order from Seamless and what you’re going to watch on TV and lie there and let her fuck you until she gets off and immediately rolls over when she’s finished whether you’re done or not. She’s the alpha dog here, you’ve just got to be comfortable enough as a man to be the bitch in the relationship and hopefully she’ll be kind enough to get you a paper towel when she’s done.

Aside: Floyd Mayweather only wants a girl who’ll take a backhand in the relationship so maybe they have something in common after all.
