Jalen Reager Has Been Traded To The Vikings To Overtake Justin Jefferson And Become A HOF WR - HA!

Beating out Vikings starting WR Justin Jefferson and fulfilling every ounce of his 21st overall selection to become a Hall Of Fame player is Jalen Reagor's destiny, right? RIGHT? As an old, spiteful, non-Super Bowl Champion Eagles head, I would've agreed. But now? Here's the first and only impression of this trade:

Awesome. See ya. Good riddance. Jalen Reagor was useless on the Eagles and was taking up a roster spot simply because he was a first round pick. Remember?

Wonder how that standout from LSU panned out, anyways.

Seriously though, good for getting rid of Jalen Reagor and getting something - ANYTHING - in return. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY can trade away a former 1st or 2nd rounder for a late round draft pick and end up being applauded for it like Howie Roseman. That's now twice in a week. Good for Howie. I guess. And now we can move on. For as much as I personally, and rightfully, have shat on Howie Roseman throughout the (12!!!!) years he's been GM of the Philadelphia Eagles, he's put together one helluva offseason. The Dream Team offseason looked great, too, but this one hopefully will hold up and become something special for years to come.

Goodnight, Sweet Bum Prince Jalen Reagor. May you finally achieve all the mediocrity your dreams can fulfill. Just don't go full Cris Carter on the Eagles franchise. That would not be nice.

PS - Jalen Reagor's very first and final touches as an Eagle were muffed punts. Actually incredible.
