LSU's Kayshon Boutte AND Malik Nabers Immediately Scrubbed Their Instragrams After The Tigers' Stunning Loss To Florida State

I think we all know why Malik Nabers would want to disappear from the brutal battlefield of social media. The guy muffed two damn punts in Sunday's  24-23 loss to Florida State.

Nabers is going through a lot of shit and I don't feel the need to pile on him any more than everyone else already is. You can see the grisly footage for yourself of the last punt return he botched. Not hard to put two and two together. Moving on!

As an NFL Draft aficionado, I want to turn the focus to the strange case of Kayshon Boutte. I tend not to get too hyped about prospects this early in the season since so much can change and players can burst onto the radar throughout the year. However, Boutte is a can't-miss talent who seems like an inevitable first-round pick in 2023.

So...how did Brian Kelly come up with a game plan in which quarterback Jayden Daniels only managed to find Boutte for two receptions and 20 yards? I don't know. But it seems like Boutte is PISSED and wants nothing to do with his new head coach. He wasn't even shy about expressing as much during the game —whether it was on the field or the sidelines!

People are making jokes all over Twitter that Boutte is going to enter the transfer portal. I mean…at this point it might be in his best interest to just sit out and focus on preparing for the draft. It'd be a weird move but at least he wouldn't have to deal with Brian Kelly's shit and Jayden Daniels' middling ability to throw the ball.

If this is how the Tigers offense looked against Florida State — who's hardly the dynastic world beater of a program they used to be — imagine the tough sledding it's gonna be once LSU's SEC schedule kicks in. Yikes. If Boutte leaves, that means more in the passing game for the true sophomore Nabers, who had five grabs for 34 yards. I just don't know if I'd trust his hands at this point. OK SORRY I'M DONE. Had to get one minor stinger in there.

Kayshon Boutte, I would normally say being a passive-aggressive malcontent on social media isn't a good look when the NFL is firmly in your sights, nor is quitting on your team after one game. That said, in this particular context, I get it. Do consider putting yourself in bubble wrap before heading to the next level. Or hell, wait an additional year, finagle your way into some favorable transfer situation, and boost your stock that way if you want.

Maybe this was an impulsive in the moment decision by Boutte and he'll come to his senses to finish the season in Baton Rouge. I'm assuming Nabers' IG wipeout was more to avoid all the vitriol coming his way. Who knows really, though? Stay tuned!
