Stop Me If You've Heard This Before: The Chargers Pissed Away A Lead In The 4th Quarter

Look at that, everything was going great!

Then, in classic franchise fashion, they pissed it all away. Honestly, I put a lot of this on the shoulders of Joe Lombardi and Staley. They were missing Keenan Allen and that obviously sucks, but it seemed like they had no plan on what to do without him. Palmer's timing was totally off and they only really succeeded with jumpballs to Mike Williams. Then the all-pro Corey Linsley AND starting RT Trey Pipkins goes down and the answer for Lombardi is….run everything inside? Right into a brick wall with the offensive line in shambles? Then doing multiple throws behind the LOS that get blown up. Lombardi lead one of the highest scoring offenses in the league last year, but he has this bizarre lack to adapt to whatever scenario he is in.

Whatever. The Chargers dominated this game until the injuries piled up. Hopefully they can take the long break to recharge (no pun intended) and tune up vs the garbo Jaguars.
