Steph Curry And Klay Thompson Tried Sumo Wrestling While In Japan And They Could Learn A Thing Or Two By Watching These Experts

Maybe you weren't aware, but the Warriors and Wizards are out in Japan right now for a little international preseason matchup. They face off tomorrow at like 6am EST for our first action of the 2022-23 NBA season. Seeing as how they're in Japan, it makes sense that there would be some sumo wrestling and from the looks of things I'm not so sure Steph and Klay should quit their day job. Although, if they want to give up basketball and get into sumo wrestling and that ensures I won't have to ever worry about Steph Curry ripping my heart out in the NBA Finals, I could get behind that.

In all honesty though, this video is not why I am writing this blog. You see, I've been around these parts for some time now. First started reading the blog in 2010, my first blog went up in 2015, I understand that with how huge Barstool is now and how new some of the fans are, there's a chance a good number of people who clicked on this blog have no idea about the Golden Era. That's why when I saw this video from the NBA get tweeted out my mind immediately went to a much better and much funnier video that I feel needs to be brought back for us all to enjoy together once again.

The year was 2013. The show was the Barstool Bro Show. If you've never seen this, you're welcome. If you have and you maybe forgot about it or just enjoy taking walks down memory lane, you're welcome.

This is what makes Barstool different. You don't see Steph and Klay fully embracing the sumo life. They aren't even wearing a mawashi for crying out loud.

That's it. That's the blog. Just a nice little jog down memory lane from one of the funniest videos from the early days. Crazy that it's been nearly 10 years since this happened. Man, we're all old.
