Tim Kurkjian Having To Break Down Cal Raleigh's "Big Dumper" Nickname Live On TV Was The Best Part Of The First Day Of Wild Card Baseball

Tim Kurkjian is the biggest of the big J journalists, he IS baseball. If there is a baseball stat, he knows it. If there is a baseball story, he's told it. If there is a funny accent, he's laughed at it. 

But I bet in all his years he would have NEVER thought that he would be asking a players teammates about a nickname like "Big Dumper". He knows WAR, he knows FIP, he knows every stat in the game but didn't know why they called Cal Raleigh "Big Dumper", and now he knows. 

It's because Raleigh apparently has a donk. KB would have that if you know what I'm saying. He is low key thiccc. And there isn't anything wrong with that, especially when you are a huge reason your team won their first playoff game in two decades. 

Just the thought of Kurkjian walking around a clubhouse asking guys about the "big dumper" has me in tears. He probably laughed and giggled the whole way through the question. And I'll be honest, I had no idea it was Raleigh's nickname, it was news to me. But I just enjoy that the Hall of Famer journalist had to walk around asking about a catchers butt to his teammates. 

PS. This is the best teacher ever. Full on Mariners pep rally while they went up big on the Jays while the kids chanted "BIG DUMPER", principal had to love that.
