Frank Was LYING

There it is folks! After all the meltdowns, doomsday predictions, and screaming matches, Frank Fleming revealed himself as a big ol' phony that believed in the Mets like the rest of us. It didn't come after a big play or incredible win. It came as he was talking to himself during a moment of silence while forgetting there was a camera and microphone recording every word he said, just like Robert Durst in The Jinx.

Even though I knew no rational person could actually think like Frank, I was shocked to hear him actually say the words live on a stream. And by the looks of this picture, so was everyone else.

Frank was right? Frank was wrong? No. Frank was lying the entire time to push his schtick as the angry clown that allows the other 29 MLB fanbases to laugh at the Mets. He says the season is over then moves the goal posts whenever he is proven wrong, like when he said this 101 win team would finish UNDER .500 IN APRIL.

Whatever. All that is over with and the entire season comes down to tonight with Jacob deGrom on the mound. Jake's gotta be Good Jake and the offense has to give us SOMETHING to rally around early in the game. Gotta believe.

Positive vibes only Game 2 preview below (even though the vibes may have varied during this episode).
