Travis Kelce Says He Turned Off His TV When Taylor Heinicke Celebrated After Drawing That Controversial Roughing The Passer Call

Travis Kelce is by far my favorite NFL player and I think I understand where he's coming from with this kind of take. When Taylor Heinicke got hyped up after it it seemed like he was just going for that. You would have thought that he threw an absolute dime down field to win the game based on the celebration he had there just from drawing a penalty.

In Taylor Heinicke's defense he doesn't have a lot of moments to celebrate. He's gotta treat every opportunity on the field like it's his last. Two years ago he didn't even know if he would ever play football professionally again and that's probably why he gets hyped up off of the littlest plays during the game. I will say NFL players tend to celebrate any chance they get, especially defensive players. Cornerbacks will get absolutely burned by the receiver, but if the QB overthrows a receiver you'll see the defensive back celebrating like he had something to do with it.

I get where both teams are coming from, Travis Kelce and the Chiefs are a real team and have won a Super Bowl so he wants people to act like they've been there before. With the Commanders, they will take anything they can get because they are dog shit and just beat the 8-0 Eagles. I do love that Travis Kelce lets it fly because it is so interesting as a fan to hear the perspective from one of the best players in the NFL talk about the biggest moments every week.

A side note if Carson Wentz starts this week Rivera shouldn't be a coach anymore. Jeff Saturday did what any fan would have done once they got the coaching job for the Colts. He saw how bad Ehlinger was and put Matt Ryan in. Rivera should be able to see Carson Wentz isn't the answer and leave this man in.
