$EBR’s Swedish Hockey League Quarterfinal Preview And Predictions
It’s been a fantastic season for the $EBR Crew in Sweden going 5-2 with our "Game Of The Month" in the SHL, we had a bunch of wins with “Boots on the Ground” in Timrå, and numerous other winners along the way. Now it's time for the Quarter-finals, so much like the players it's time for $EBR to really dig in and pull out all the stops to find wins.

Here’s a look at the current odds for each team to win the whole thing at Barstool Sportsbook. Who will take home a famed golden helmet to add to their trophy case?
Games start Thursday at 1 PM EST, so here's a look at each series and a prediction on who will advance to the final four!
(1) Växjö Lakers vs. (10) Luleå HF

Player To Watch: Emil Larmi (VLH) - Finnish goalie and former Wilke-Barre Scranton Penguin had a monster year: 31 games 1.62 GAA 9.34 SV% with 8 shutouts!

(2) Skellefteå AIK vs. (9) Rögle BK

Player To Watch: Axel Sandin-Pellikka (SAIK) - Top 10 draft prospect for the 2023 NHL Draft could move into the top 5 if he has a big playoff.
Season Series: Skellefteå won 3 games to 1.
$EBR Prediction: Skellefteå will make quick work of Rögle and we will look to hit the Over all series long.
(3) Färjestads BK vs. (6) Frölunda Indians
Series Odds at Barstool Sportsbook: Färjestads -200 Frölunda +155
Player To Watch: Joakim Nygård (FBK) - The former Edmonton Oiler was the team’s leading scorer this season and was a force in last year's Gold Medal run.
Season Series: Färjestads won 3 games to 1
$EBR Prediction: Two of the biggest clubs in Sweden going at it, this series should go 6 or 7 games and we lean toward the former champs knocking out Frölunda and European hockey legend Ryan Lasch.
(4) Örebro HK vs. (5) Timrå IK
Series Odds at Barstool Sportsbook: Örebro -155 Timrå +122
Player To Watch: Leo Carlsson (OHK) - As a top 3 draft prospect for the upcoming NHL draft all the NHL scouts will be watching how he performs when the stakes are raised.
Season Series: Each team won 2 games, with Timrå winning the first 2 in OT.
$EBR Prediction: Would love to see extra games of Leo, but Timrå is $EBR’s team and we will have boots on the ground for some games, so Timrå wins in a long tight-checking series.
