The Next Time You See Connor Bedard Play Hockey It'll Be In The NHL. His Team Was Eliminated From The Playoffs After He Had One Of The Greatest Seasons Ever

No matter what's ahead of a prospect, you always want to see that heart break at the end of a season if it doesn't go their way. Bedard seems basically perfect. He had 20 points in the series, but it wasn't enough to get his team through to the next round. End of an era in Regina for Bedard and despite the fact that the NHL and millions are waiting for him he can't quite pull himself off the bench at the end of the game. That's a kid who cares and that is what you truly need to be the best.

What a year. Gold for Canada in the WJC, a human highlight reel, and seemingly smashing records every time I refreshed twitter.

His stats across all competitions this season:

Games played: 71

Goals: 92

Points: 186

That comes out to 2.62 points per game. Those are numbers you only saw in the 1980s. He's a true super star and this piece from TSN will just make you love the kid even more.

He's just got all the right stuff which is why there is a genuine race to the bottom of the standings for him. The Blackhawks executed the tank perfectly last night giving up 3 goals in the final 6 minutes after playing very well for 54 minutes

Best prospect since McDavid. Truly a generational type talent. Can't wait to see him at the next level.
