Aaron Rodgers Being A Big Jersey Shore Fan Shows Me There Is Absolutely No Doubt He Will Be A Jets Fan Favorite

Aaron Rodgers was already going to be a fan favorite in NY, especially for the Jets - a franchise LONGING for a franchise QB since basically the days of Joe Namath. Sure Pennington and Sanchez had some okay runs, but neither was ever the all time great that Rodgers was/is. 

Rodgers has been playing his cards right since he arrived in NY. Attending Rangers and Knicks games, supporting the local teams, wanting to compete for a title for The Jets, saying all the right things etc. And now this sound bite which is basically the icing on the cake. As if Jets fans didn’t already have a million reasons to like him, the bonding over one of the greatest shows from the area is reason one million and one. Just imagine season ticket holders cracking jokes at a meet and greet with Rodgers about tee shirt time or Angelina being a dirty hamster. All time. 

Now to go even one step further, if he likes the show so much, chances are he may go down the shore a few times in the offseason. Can you imagine Meathead Jets fans rubbing elbows with their QB1 at Karma, Bamboo or D’Jais ? He could play like shit until Halloween and people would still love him because he was “a man of the people.” 

Smart move by Rodgers go play to the local areas interests. And for all you kids out there wondering what the hell Jersey Shore is … just trust me, it was can’t miss television at one point in time. None of it could ever be replicated but you kind of just had to be there in the moment to appreciate how terrific it was and how perfect it was. Like man landing on the moon.
