The Unabomber, Ted Kaczynski, Was Found Dead In His Jail Cell This Morning
ABC News- Ted Kaczynski, the convicted terrorist known as the Unabomber, was found dead in his prison cell early Saturday, according to a Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesperson. He was 81.
Kaczynski was found unresponsive in his cell around 12:30 a.m. ET and transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
Kaczynski was previously in a maximum security facility in Colorado but was moved to a federal medical center in Butner, North Carolina, in December 2021 due to poor health.
What a wild ride.
The documentary “The Unabomber: In His Own Words” is on Netflix still. If you haven’t seen it, it’s worth watching.
Growing up, being young when this guy was mailing his bombs around, blowing people up we weren’t really privy to the details. I remember being terrified thinking this guy was just sending random people bombs and anytime you got a package, it was open at your own risk. I was an idiot, and we also had no internet or world at our fingertips back then.
Plus the media painting him as the random maniac, plastering the most famous sketch drawing of all time all over newspapers and tv screens every opportunity helped play it up.
Come to find out, many years later, through docs and news specials like the one above, Kaczynski was a mad man, but also a mad genius. Cold blooded serial killer yes. But also brilliant, perhaps too smart for his own good. (A Michigan man by the way)
He scored 167 on an I.Q. test as a boy and entered Harvard at 16. In graduate school, at the University of Michigan, “he worked in a field of mathematics so esoteric that a member of his dissertation committee estimated that only 10 or 12 people in the country understood it. By 25, he was an assistant professor at the University of California, Berkeley”.
He disappeared into rural Montana, built a shack, lived of rabbits he caught, and read by campfire and candlelight.
The killings launched the longest and most costly manhunt in American history, over 17 years from 1978 until 1995.
His manifesto and writings stated that his goal and point of his madness was bringing about the collapse of the modern social order.
It was eventually published, under the threat of continued violence, jointly by The New York Times and The Washington Post in 1995 — “argued that damage to the environment and the alienating effects of technology were so heinous that the social and industrial underpinnings of modern life should be destroyed.”
At over 35,000 words, it reads like the ramblings of a schizophrenic, mentally deranged wacko. But the crazy part is how well he predicted “the future” and times we’re living in now in terms of our dependence and reliance on technology, our cell phones, and how powerful the media is.
NYT- In 2017 and 2020, Netflix released new documentaries about Mr. Kaczynski. He maintained postal correspondence with thousands of people — journalists, students and die-hard supporters. In 2018, Wired magazine announced “the Unabomber’s odd and furious online revival,” and New York magazine called him “an unlikely prophet to a new generation of acolytes.”
There’s no details other than what’s been reported so far surrounding his death. So no idea if he was Epstein’d or not, if this was natural causes, a senseless prison killing, or to send a message. Too bad I can’t ask our prison expert for his thoughts and opinion on the matter anymore. As the resident conspiracy theorist here I’m obviously reading between the lines here and seeing this ties in to the the excessive alien bullshit reaching a tipping point, the looming internet (sabotage) outage, and the mass electricity outages. The truth is out there.
