Ever See Someone Have A Game Saving HR Robbery And A Game Winning Homer In A 20 Minute Span? Well Cedric Mullins Just Did That!

Oh.My.God. Cedric Mullins letting his presence known. Came in the game as a DEFENSIVE REPLACEMENT and holy shit did it pay off. Bottom 9, up 1 and Ty France absolutely smokes one to center. No fear, Mullins goes back and scales the wall to make the catch of the year. I don't know how else to describe it. Catch of the god damn year. He's not a big guy at all, so for him to do that in the sun, going up and over the wall and holding onto it as he slams onto the warning track. 

It became bigger when the next batter hit a ball about 450 feet to tie it up. He saved the game for the Birds. What an unreal play. Coming off the groin injury this weekend too, can't stop thinking about how awesome he was. This is also the third or fourth time 31 has had a "Catch of the Year" so far in 2023. Hand him his gold glove. 

Oh you thought he was done? Next half inning after saving the game Mulluns comes up and LAUNCHES one foul. Missed it by maybe 2 feet, probably closer. Oh well, Matt Olson said guys who hit foul ball homers never homer in the same AB. WRONGGGGGGG. 

Mullins man, what a 20 minutes for the guy. I've never seen a better 20 minutes for a player. Game winning home run as he sends one about 15 rows back. I love Cedric Mullins man. What a man, what a game, another series win. This team is so good.
