Taylor Swift was photographed out to dinner with Barbie director Greta Gerwig as well as Big Little Lies stars Zoë Kravitz and Laura Dern in New York City Sept. 18.
For the enchanted evening outing at Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria, Taylor proved her looks never go out of style in a black mini dress, knee-high Christian Louboutin boots and a brown wool coat, which she finished with dainty purple and gold earrings and matching necklace. For her part, Greta painted a similar image in a black wrap dress, pink crossbody bag shiny purple flats.
SOUND THE MOTHERFUCKING ALARMS!!!!! GRETA GERWIG! TAYLOR SWIFT! LAURA DERN! ZOE KRAVITZ! What could this possibly be? I'll tell you what it is, it's a future Oscar winning movie. Why would this powerhouse foursome come together if not to discuss a script? If not to start planning for Oscars 2025?
I'll say one thing, I hope that Taylor is writing this probable film, and not actually starring in it. I LOVE Taylor, and I love when she acts in her own music videos, but her resume isn't that impressive when it comes to box office hits (see: CATS) (counterpoint, The Lorax slays). A movie involving Taylor teamed up with Greta might make my head explode harder than Barbie did.
