Forecaster Frank NFL Picks Week 6: Just Fade Me

The struggle continued as  I went 4-9-1 in Week 5 and now sit at 32-44-2 on the season.

Thursday Night

  • KC -10.5 (o/u 47.5)
  • Chiefs 48 Broncos

The Coast Guard has recovered the remains of the OceanGate near the Titanic. They were shocked to find a banner that read "Broncos Country Lets Ride. This is the game in which the Chiefs offense gets right.

London Games

  • Ten +4 (o/u 41)
  • Ravens 20 Titans 17

Two teams that have been hard to predict meet in the final London Game of the season. This game will be low-scoring, with the Ravens winning on a Justin Tucker field goal as time expires.

Sunday at 1

  • Atl -2.5 (o/u 42.5)
  • Falcons 27 Commanders 17

After winning their first two games, the Commanders have been slapped with reality, losing their last three games. The Falcons are 3-0 at home and poised to make it 4-0 as Washington continues their struggles.

  • Min -2.5  (o/u 44.5)
  • Vikings 27 Bears 20

This is a survival game for the Vikings, as a loss could see the boats burning as a firesale begins in Minnesota. The Bears won with the spirit of Dick Butkus last week, saving Matt Eberflus' job for now. It is hard to imagine the Bears can repeat that performance.

  • Cin -2.5 (o/u 45)
  • Bengals 24 Seahawks 20

The Bengals offense got on track last week as Joe Burrow had his best game of the season. Facing a strong Seattle secondary will be a test, but the Bengals will claw their way to a win, getting back to .500.

  • SF -6.5 (o/u 37)
  • 49ers 24 Browns 3

The health of Deshaun Watson remains a question as the Browns' quarterback continues to recover from a shoulder injury. The Browns' defense has been strong, but the weapons of the 49ers will be challenging to stop as they will be on the field most of the game with the Browns' offense stuck in neutral.

  • Hou +1.5 (o/u 42.5)
  • Texans 23 Saints 20

The Texans are steadily improving as they look to rebound following a tough loss in Atlanta. The Saints, meanwhile, shut out the Patriots 34-0 in New England. The Saints took advantage of an injury-ravaged Patriots team. The Texans' defense will put pressure on Derek Carr and get the win as a home dog.

  • Jax -4 (o/u 45.5)
  • Jaguars 31 Colts 17

The Jaguars return home following two wins in London. The Jaguars are looking to complete a season sweep of the Colts, whom they beat in Week 1. The Colts have not won in Jacksonville since 2014. Expect that trend to continue as Gardner Minshew is forced into action, with Anthony Richardson expected to miss a month.

  • Mia -13.5 (o/u 48.5)
  • Dolphins 41 Panthers 24

Through five weeks, the Dolphins have both the best rushing and passing offense in the NFL. De'Von Achane will likely miss a month, but it is hard to imagine the offense slowing down. The only thing Miami needs to be wary of is looking ahead to next week's showdown in Philly.

Sunday Late Game

  • LV -3 (o/u 41.5)
  • Raiders 27 Patriots 16

Following a 34-0 home loss, take of Bill Belichick getting fired, having begun to hang over the air in Foxboro. While it is hard to imagine Robert Kraft letting the six-time Lombardi Trophy winner go during the season, the fact remains the Patriots are among the worst teams in the NFL.

  • Ari +7 (48.5)
  • Rams 23 Cardinals 17

The last two weeks not withstanding; the Cardinals have been a good team at getting covers. The Rams have been better than expected and will win, but they will sweat it out until the end.

  • Phi -7 (o/u 41)
  • Eagles 38 Jets 10

The Jets have shown signs of life the last two weeks, nearly beating the Chiefs and later winning on the road in Denver. The Chiefs were flat after building a 17-0, and the Broncos just suck. The Eagles will show the Jets for who they are as they win in the Meadowlands with ease.

  • Det -3 (o/u 44)
  • Lions 27 Buccaneers 23

The Lions' path to their first division title in three decades is clear, as they appear to be the only good team in a terrible NFC North. The Buccaneers know how to win a bad division and can give them some pointers. The Lions won't need those pointers as they sink the Bucs and continue to reign.

Sunday Night

  • Buf -14 (o/u 45)
  • Bills 38 Giants 6

The last time the Giants played on Sunday Night Football, they lost 40-0 in the season opener. The good news is they won't get shut out and lose by 40 again, but that is the only good news.

Monday Night

  • LAC +2.5 (o/u 51)
  • Chargers 27 Cowboys 24

It was a rough week for the Cowboys as they were embarrassed in San Francisco last week. Staying in California, they hope to rebound against the Chargers in an LA home game. However, the Chargers will continue to show the Cowboys for the frauds that they are as Justin Herbert, with an injured hand, outplays Dak Prescott.
