If we're being honest, the only thing missing here was this happening on a Tuesday night. There's nothing like MAC football. A bunch of schools in the Midwest just delivering onside kick returns for touchdowns to start the game. That's how you set a tone. That's how you break a team's back. You know Kent State was ready to come out with this big play, get up early and immediately try to bully Eastern Michigan.

Not so fast. Not in the The Factory baby. 

I love the call for an onside kick. It's college football, have the balls to make a statement. Now, of course, you need to be able to execute it. It was right there though. A bounce the other way and who knows. Instead it's 7-0 the other way. Decent wheels on 32. You know he wasn't expecting to be sprinting out there and almost got caught. But when you play in The Factory, you drag guys into the end zone. This is how you start a Saturday in college football.
