Taylor Swift Doesn't Care About What The "Dads, Brads and Chads" Have To Say About Her Being At NFL Games
Sorry to disappoint all of the fragile NFL fans, but guess what - SHE DOESN'T CARE WHAT YOU ALL THINK! She goes to the game to support her man, end of story.
TIME - Swift’s private life has long served as both grist for the tabloid mill and inspiration for her own work; she split from her longtime boyfriend, actor Joe Alwyn, earlier this year. Most recently, she’s been dating the NFL star Travis Kelce, as has been well documented when she attends his games. “I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” she says. “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when then camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.” She is sensitive to the attention that’s put on her when she shows up. “I’m just there to support Travis,” she says. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
Something great that has come out of this Taylor/Travis relationship is seeing all of the diehard football guys get SO PISSED over all of the attention Taylor gets. Like, sorry she's the most famous woman in the world! You should be so lucky that she's even giving you the time of day! She doesn't ask for it, she's just living her life and being a supportive girlfriend. And look! She's even come around in the sport in general! Maybe now football will become popular?
I point out that it’s a net positive for the NFL to have a few Swifties watching. “Football is awesome, it turns out,” Swift says playfully. “I’ve been missing out my whole life.” The larger point, for her, is that there’s nothing to hide. “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she says. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

Amen. Everyone can shut the fuck up now!!! Seriously. If you were ever angry about one person doing more positive PR for the sport than anyone else has ever done in history, that's your own issue. Sure, players can play the game - but when Taylor Swift shows interest, that's when we all start paying attention.
