Sommer Ray Has The Internet Mad After Saying She's "Fallen In Love With Celibacy" And Her Next Boyfriend Will Have To Wait Until Marriage

Happy final week of the NFL regular season! You may be focused on playoff implications, maybe even kissing your favorite team goodbye until next fall, but not the rest of the Internet. They're focused on the recent Sommer Ray news that broke over the weekend where she says she's fallen in love with celibacy. If you don't know who Sommer is, you certainly live under a rock, because she's been in the game for damn near a decade. She had twenty million followers on Instagram before you even knew the app existed. Her and Jen Selter sort of popularized the whole Instagram model thing and she's managed to stay relevant ever since.

I haven't been caught up on my Sommer Ray news, but it seems like she's fresh off her summer tour:

It took me a little bit of research because I initially thought she was just doing a meet and greet with a bunch of people at pool parties, but it seems like she's transitioned more into the DJ game as of late. Influencer to DJ pipeline is so predictable that it hurts. Side note, I love how the concert in LA says "undisclosed location". You wanna see Sommer Ray perform? Figure out where the location is then like it's the Chamber of Secrets.

Anyway, the tweet going viral of her saying she's "fallen in love with celibacy" has people up in arms. Apparently the Internet can tell her that she has a higher body count than she herself knows:

Listen, I appreciate greatness when I see it. I was the biggest LeBron hater until he came to LA and now he's garnered my respect for life. Sommer is sorta the same way. She's been around for a decade and still putting up prime Wilt numbers in virality. If anyone else announces they're celibate, chances are no one cares. Sommer does and it's the number one trend on X dot com with thousands of people mad at how she's choosing to live her life. You can't teach that type of stuff. And I kinda love the phrase "fallen in love with celibacy" like it were a human.

So here's to Sommer for being able to do whatever she wants and go viral for it because let's face the simple truth: you can do whatever you want when you have 25 million Instagram followers. Salute.
