The McCaskey Family Needs To Sell The Chicago Bears

Courtney Cronin's summation right here says it all perfectly IMO:

No idea. None at all. I just know that I hate how half assed this all seems at the moment. 

Everyone in Chicago's heads are spinning because the Bears decided to retain Eberflus. They had a golden opportunity to completely clean house and hand the keys over to a dude who you have a long history with that just might be the very best football coach on earth, but they didn't. They took the easy way out, as always.

Just *once* we'd like to see them put their nuts on the table and make a statement like that. They never do and it's beyond exhausting. 

I don't think this is on Warren or Poles, though. They're not dummies. They know who Harbaugh is, what his hire would mean/say, and that they'd instantly be taking seriously from that point forward. The only thing that could separate Warren/Poles from making that hire was the McCaskey's checkbook. There's not a doubt it my mind that's true. 

Wtf is $20MM to the owners of the GODDAMN CHICAGO BEARS? Especially if that $20MM is the difference between being the same mediocre pile of boring garbage and being a team that is hellbent on winning a Super Bowl? 

It shouldn't be anything, yet it unfortunately is. Just sell the goddamn team already. Could say this about any owner in Chicago right now
