I May Have Jinxed The Quick Picks Parlay
Brandon Walker, Megan Makin' Money, and myself started a daily gambling show called QuickPicks that coincided with the DraftKings partnership launch. We each give one pick every day and keep track of our individual records as well as putting out a group parlay each day.
Two weeks in, I felt a bit hot to trot and wanted to write about how Quick Picks deserved everyone's attention. We were up over 25 units as a show in two weeks and our parlays were up 16.1 units at the time.
Well I may have mushed us. We have lost every single parlay since and are now up 1.1 units total now on the parlay. I am asking your forgiveness and hoping to undo this spell that I've brought upon us. On Friday we lost the parlay by the hook on our final play. It's been a tough stretch, but we persevere and are excited about our play tonight:
