"The Hardest Geezer" Is Just 10 Days Away From Completing A Year Long Length Of Africa (Yes, The Continent) Run

Introducing....THE HARDEST GEEEEEEZER! Russ Cook is a content creator that is in the midst of one of the most impressive accomplishments I've seen on the internet.

Absolutely insane.

He's averaged over a marathon a day in these 340 days. 15,553km is just under 10,000 miles. He will hit that 10,000 mark before finishing it off.

On top of all of this, he has raised $291,000 for charity. His goal, when he started, was to raise over $1,000,000. If you do want to contribute to that fundraiser, here is the link.

From the map in the tweet above, you can see that Russ has "only" ran the left side of Africa. He was asked if he has any interest in doing the right side...his answer was perfect:

Russ didn't just randomly start this…he's been training "intensely" for the last 6 years. His videos throughout the run have been very funny on Instagram:

The comments are even better:

He's been documenting everything on YouTube too:

Back in June, Russ was robbed at gunpoint

A man running the length of Africa has been forced to pause his challenge after he was robbed at gunpoint.

Russell Cook, from Worthing, West Sussex, was attempting to complete 360 marathons in 240 days.

Last month, the 26-year-old and his team had cameras, phones, cash and passports stolen in an incident in Angola.

That didn't stop him or the documentary that he's planning on releasing after all of this is finished.

If you're wondering where he sleeps, it looks like a truck follows him everywhere.

He's not alone, as his video editor is with him on the journey.

He is very close to completing the journey. One of the most impressive feats in human history? I think it's up there. Imagine the feeling he'll have when it's all over. How long would that last? A lifetime? Or just a few days? A few hours? Who knows. What an absolute legend.

Maybe Billy Football, Donnie, and him can all link up for Last Chance Uganda Season 2? Would be scenes.
