Think Your QB Situation Has Been Dire? The Picture For Washington's Last QB To Throw for 30 TDs In A Season Is In Black And White

There is only one team more dire than us- the Bears having NONE. But my god, the Commanders last 30 TD passer being Sonny Jurgensen in 1967 is insanity, but not surprising. You would think at some point since the invention of color photography SOMEONE would have accidentally thrown for 30 TDs in a season, but nope! And this is for a team that has won 3 Super Bowls, no less!

And look at some of the other names on that graphic- Bortles. Tannehill. Geno. Wentz! Meanwhile the last QB in Washington to throw for 30 was during the Vietnam god damn War.

I would have thought SOMEONE during that time (Rypien? Theismann? Cousins?) would have thrown for 30, but then again, our history at QB is so fucking ugly.

Yeeeeeeeeuck.

The good news though- we are about to draft our franchise saving, stud, HOF QB. It's going to happen. I don't know if it's going to be Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels, but whoever we take, that's my guy. It's looking more every day that it'll be Jayden, but then last night there was some ~drama~ because Daniels' agent liked a few tweets upset at the way the Commanders took a bunch of prospects together to Top Golf. Just more unnecessary drama that I thought we were done with, but alas, I guess it never ends. 

But I PROMISE in the next 5 years that picture will no longer be in black and white. Remind me in 5 years. A Nate Guarantee!
