Millionaire Goes Homeless As A Social Experiment With The Goal Of Making $1 Million In 12 Months (Spoiler Alert: He Failed)

Welcome to the wild, wild world of Mike Black.....after making millions he decided to start over:

He started this entire journey in 2020. He drained his bank account (?????) and started sleeping on benches. His goal was to….inspire people who hit rock bottom.

After moving in with a random guy in an RV (believing this guy wouldn't kill you was one hell of a move), he started to flip free items from Craiglist:

Reminds me of this Gary Vee clip saying you should take a table, go on the bus, and then sell it on the table:

One of my favorite internet clips. Gary Vee is just the best. Makes me laugh every time. All time hustler.

He eventually found a marketing gig:

He then launched an e-commerce business, where he sold coffee to dog lovers (and then donated proceeds to animal rescues).

Unfortunately, his dad was then diagnosed with cancer…..and then he was diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases and a tumor!

43 weeks in, he ended the project due to his personal health declining. He made $65,000.

This all went down 2 years ago. He is still posting on Twitter:

The overall idea of this project was cool from a content perspective, but to do it to "inspire others" is where it fell short. Phrasing it as a challenge like Mr. Beast would've been much better IMO. The content didn't really work, only gaining around 5,000 views per video.

Inspiring the homeless as someone who obviously has great business acumen (millionaire) and most likely a high IQ, is disingenuous. LeBron James could inspire me to be an NBA player, but that's never going to happen. I don't have the skills. Unfortunately, a lot of homelessness comes from situations out of the individual's control. Whether that be lack of education, family support, crime-ridden areas, etc. You can't just fix the lack of structure that leads to homelessness.

He also turned very sick during this whole thing and just quit. When homeless people get sick, they can't just quit. That's their life. You can't just exit the YouTube series.

Plus, cosplaying as poor is never a good idea. It's also weird.

Wow, am I turning into a lib?

Anyways, the internet ate this guy up:
