Fresh Off Her #7 Selection In The WNBA Draft, Angel Reese Is Now Driving A $183,000 Mercedes-Benz SUV

So Angel Reese went #7 overall in last week's WNBA draft to OUR Chicago Sky, and while that's cool to go in the Top 10 and all, it's not the most uhh, lucrative, of jobs. She's slated to make $73,000 this upcoming season, which will raise all the way up to $74,000 next year. But by year 4 in the league, she'll be making north of $93K!! Not bad money for perhaps a finance major somewhere in the rust belt, but not great for a professional athlete. 

However, Angel must be pulling in some other big time sources of income, because as of last night, she is now whipping around Chicago is a brand new Mercedes-Benz SUV valued at $183,000.

What's the NBA equivalent of this purchase? Guy signs a $10 million deal and gets a $23 million boat?

The tag at the bottom has to mean that this was given to her, right? Because ain't no way she's buying a car that's 2.3x her annual salary. And I get she's probably pulling in the 2nd most sponsorships in this draft class behind Caitlin, but how much could it be? Caitlin is getting what Dave Portnoy called undervalued at 28 mil over 8 years…

…and that's for the most electric women's basketball player to ever lace up the sneakers. And Nike was far and beyond the highest bidder for her.

So if Adidas is only offering Caitlin Clark 1.5 mil a year, what do we think Angel Reese is pulling in off the court? These ladies need to open up their tax returns so I can quit guessing! Either way though, can't wait to see the new self proclaimed "Chi Barbie" whipping around the Windy City in her new nearly $200,000 ride.
