Introducing Melissa "Statick" Balic - The PFL's Newest Signing

As soon as I saw the PFL announce their newest signee this afternoon, Melissa "Statick" Balic, I knew I had to alert the masses. Why? Look no further than her Instagram page!

As a taken man who doesn't want to wind up in the doghouse for any reason, I'll just say that Melissa doesn't look like your typical MMA fighter! That's for sure. She's only been fighting professionally for about a year, but she's already 2-1 in MMA (and 3-0 in kickboxing), and if she can string together a couple of wins in the PFL - I think she could be a marketing dream come true.

Also, upon doing some research, I found out she was recently apart of an event with Tiger Schulmanns for handicapped fighting hopefuls and that is pretty awesome....

Fun Fact: that's the Rahway Rec Center in New Jersey - the very building where I trained to be a professional wrestler for a Summer.

I'll root for her based on her participation in that alone - but yeah, keep an eye out for Melissa "Statick" Balic this Summer.
