Holly Holm over Ronda Rousey. Valentina Shevchenko over Jessica Eye. Holly Holm over Bethe Correia. Rose Namajunas over Weili Zhang. And now....Kendra McIntyre over Katarina Legorreta. Add it to the list of the greatest head kick knockouts in the history of women's mixed martial arts INSTANTLY.
This KO comes from LFA 182 on UFC Fight Pass last night, and it is COLD. I didn't see the whole fight leading up to the finish, but the final seconds show McIntyre just drilling a gassed/out of it Legorreta, practically handpicking the shot she's gonna knock her out with - and then the walk off when it happens is legendary. McIntyre's currently 3-1 professionally and the one loss is by way of DQ for a kick to the head of a grounded opponent. I say after that knockout, we get her a UFC contract.
