The Steelers Are Reportedly Thinking Of Using Justin Fields As A Kick Returner, Would Immediately Make Kickoffs Fun As Hell Again

I don't care if Jaylen Warren is being sarcastic here or not, this is something I want to see now. We know there are new kickoff rules:

Now, obviously it's not the best idea to put your starting or backup quarterback out there to return kicks. However, I don't give a shit because I'm not a Steelers fan. I want to see cool players do cool shit on kickoffs again. Remember the days of Dante Hall and Devin Hester? Yeah let's bring those back. There was nothing more exciting than seeing Hall turn the corner and break out the X celebration.

I don't even care what you think about Justin Fields as a quarterback. He's a fun ass football player (trademark that). I'm not saying he's good or bad or anything. He's just fun. Dude runs around out there, makes people miss. Give me him returning kicks. We need to bring back this part of the game. What's the saying now? Special teams, special plays, special players. Plus, you really trust Russ Wilson out there to score a bunch of points as a starting quarterback?

Again, who cares how dumb this sounds. If you're not a fan of the team, you just want to be entertained. Give me the best guys or at least the most fun guys returning kicks. Make kickoff returns cool again, it should be part of the game. There were few moments more exciting than seeing guys start to break through and wonder if a kicker can tackle.
