Taylor Swift's Prodigy Sabrina Carpenter Is Going To Be On SNL With Taylor's Ex Jake Gyllenhaal

THE TEAAAA IS PIPPPINGGGG!!!!! Wow. Lots of people asking me how I feel about this. Are we pissed at Sabrina? Did they do this on purpose? Who approved this?! If you live under a rock, Sabrina Carpenter is the next Pop Princess. She was opening for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour for a lot of the North and South American tour stops! 

Nate was asking me if I think that Sabrina had to get permission from Taylor to do this. In my mind, no. Taylor and Jake dated 12ish years ago. Now he did inspire 'All Too Well', one of the best breakup songs of all time. So I do understand why people would think that. It is common courtesy or "being a girls girl" to ask your friend if it is cool to hang out with their ex. This is SNL though! This is huge exposure for Sabrina, so I dont see a world where she would turn this down no matter what.

If I'm Sabrina, I am totally asking Taylor if she thinks this is okay. They are good friends and good friends don't hang out with each others exes. Does Sabrina NEED to ask for permission? Totally not! If Taylor got mad, that would be weird. Keep in mind, Taylor doesn't GIVE A FUCK. All of her besties have down campaigns for SKIMS! That is WORSE, in my opinion! So this SNL thing is no biggie. I am super excited for Sabrina! I know she is gonna crush it just like she always does and I know Taylor will be supporting her.
