If this is what the Kendrick/Drake beef has come to, I don't want it anymore. I know everyone is going to revert to Tupac and Biggie as if two legends dying in their mid-twenties is some kind of flex. Rap battles should never result in death. Get in the studio, talk your shit, and when it's done, it's done. Just like in professional fighting, you get in the cage, exchange blows, and at the end, there's a winner and a loser, but never a funeral. As you all know, I'm a Drake fan through and through, but never in a million years would I want Kendrick Lamar to get killed over this. There's very little information about what happened and who did it, and honestly, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Kendrick has nothing to do with it. For all we know, it could be a crazy ex-girlfriend or a lunatic fan.

As someone who's lost multiple people to gun violence, I can say unequivocally that it is never the answer. I don't care if it's "the rap game." Both of these men have kids to raise. Neither child should have to grow up without their father over some diss tracks. Call me soft or whatever you want, I don't give a fuck. No one, and I mean no one, "wins" anything if either of these men die.
