It's Not Flying Cars Yet But Scientists Have Discovered How To Make Cold Brew Coffee In Just 60 Seconds Using An Ultrasound Machine

Cold brew coffee, which is made by steeping coffee grounds in cold water, is gaining popularity because it results in a less bitter drink than traditional methods using hot water. But the technique is also a headache for coffee shops as they need refrigerator space and must allow up to 24 hours to make a brew.

A high-tech method for producing cold brew coffee that uses ultrasonic waves to extract flavour could cut the time required from 24 hours to just a few minutes.

Well, it ain't the flying cars they've been telling us since the 1940s, seeing as I'm still driving my Honda Civic on the ground. But it appears that we've just had a different breakthrough in Science that will change the way this world works as we know it. That's right folks, a team of Scientists have discovered that you can use an ultrasound machine to "bombard coffee grounds with ultrasonic waves" to extract a cold shot of coffee in less than 3 minutes.

And now we can pair this quick coffee maker with the drones that can deliver coffee and wow, it's like year 3024 has arrived early.

Quick question: did we have Scientists working on this type of stuff? Is this their full-time job, given this assignment by their boss to expedite the process of producing Cold Brew coffee? Or were they just doing this in their free time between reading ultrasounds to determine the initial gender of a child? Listen I'm as big of a Stella Blue Cold Brew drinker as there is, but I'd prefer my scientists to more global issues. Like, can we get all Scientists to focus on Cancer for a few days, solve that one, and then move back to coffee and other fun things?

Then again, maybe this was a really important discovery, financially speaking. This could be GENERATIONAL NEWS for the younger crowd that cannot afford to buy houses (source: Billy Football's election campaign) due to their Starbucks addictions. Sure, using an ultrasound machine might be costly to produce a $3 cup of coffee now, but think about when the machine pays for itself in added profits and we can lower the price of a cold brew? They'll totally do that for us, right? This could be one of those moments we look back on as a day that changed society.
