True Love: With the Help Of The Rays' Team Photographer, Tyler Glasnow Met His Current Girlfriend At A Game A Few Years Ago After Tossing Her a Ball With His Number On It

True love is hard to find, sometimes you think you have true love and then you catch the early flight home from San Diego and a couple of nude people jump out of your bathroom blindfolded like a goddamn magic show ready to double team your girlfriend…

For the Average Joe out there, talking to a random girl at a bar is a minefield no one enjoys navigating. The idea of approaching a girl and talking to her is so much easier than the act itself. What am I going to do to coerce a girl into liking me? If you're able to get it done still, good for you, but the way I see it post covid, those days are long gone. Now it's all on the dating apps, which can be a nightmare at times to maneuver as well. Sure there's Instagram too, but that only works if you have a blind confidence to you like Tommy Smokes and women are oddly attracted to your feminine mannerisms.

You know what I've always found helps when attempting to pick up a female? Being a professional baseball player who is good looking, very successful, and makes a boat load of money. Just look at how it turned out for Mickey Mantle

Now not everyone is an all-time cocksman like Mickey Mantle, and that's okay. You might need to get creative, ballsy, and be a gentleman at the same time, like Billy Chapel.

You know who definitely watched 'For Love of the Game' and wrote down some pointers? Tyler Glasnow. This quick story from over the weekend about how he met his girlfriend Meghan went viral.

I'm just trying to picture one of those crazy dads who bring their kids to the game solely to use them to snag autographs jumping in front of her and snagging it for himself. Not here though, this is a fairytale. She somehow falls for the incredibly good-looking, very rich baseball player, but not after a bit of "hard to get." Not the kind of hard to get we deal with where we have to play everything the right way and wait the perfect amount of time to text back so the girl doesn't paint us as desperate and clingy. No, all he had to do was just text her first. Years later they're still together and instead of living in Tampa, Florida they're in LA. Not a bad life, huh?

By the way, I'm sure that's the first time Glasnow ever did the ball trick with a girl. What's not to believe? Can't a guy just spot the love of his life one time and the rest be history?

Meghan is a PA working with botox injections and all that fun stuff, or at least that's what is thrown at you when you visit her Instagram. I feel like they could pass for brother and sister oddly, but good for them. Should have been a tall, handsome, successful baseball player. Instead settled for short, balding, blogger. It happens.

P.s. Can't wait for people to somehow get the Rays photographer in trouble here
