Things Continue To Get Stickier For Tennis Player/Lingerie Model Camila Giorgi - It's Been Reported She Committed Tax Fraud, Skipped Out On Six Months Rent, Stole Almost $100K Worth Of Furniture, And Fled The Country

Seems the Camila Giorgi tennis retirement saga has more layers to it than we initially thought. The fun is just beginning, let's dive back into my favorite tennis player/lingerie model and her tomfoolery.

To recap quickly, this all began when the tennis world discovered that prior to Rome (her home tournament) Giorgi's name popped up on the WTA official retirement list out of nowhere. No formal announcement, no goodbye to the fans, nothing. Just this odd, silent escape.

I kinda suspected something was up, because why not play your final tournament, the very next one up on the schedule?

Then after a few days had gone by, this story from the Italian media surfaced, accusing her of fleeing tax authorities. Oh boy.

She then released this statement on her Instagram story.

Today? Well, we got news from the villa she was staying at that she skipped out on six months rent and stole expensive furniture on her way out.

Her dad allegedly sent messages to the owner of the villa saying the furniture was of no value, despite pleas to return it. This guy below is her dad. by the way. Seems like a straight shooter.

This of course was after neighbors had seen movers pull up out of nowhere and clear the place out, including taking a 500kg table and some Persian rugs. It's been alleged that between 50-100k euros worth of stuff had been taken.

(source) Not only would the tax authorities be looking for Camila Giorgi , but also the owner of the villa in Calenzano (near Florence) where the tennis player lived until three months ago, before her escape. «Not only did they leave without saying anything with six months of unpaid rent - this is the owner's confession to the newspaper La Repubblica -, but they made half of our furniture disappear. Persian rugs, fine furniture, even an antique half-ton table. We are talking about damage between 50 and 100 thousand euros."

The shocking story also continues with the exchange of messages that allegedly took place with Sergio, Camila's father : «I wrote to him that they must at least give us back our things, he responded in a contemptuous way saying that they were objects of little value. A hateful behavior, for those like me who have suffered economic but also emotional damage. I can't know how much is true or how much Camila owes the State , but I know what he owes us. Those objects are part of my mother's life and mine: I want them back, at least this much, given that we have lost hope due to the thousands and thousands of euros in back rent."

This is SPICY. Think we got ourselves some cinema in the making here. Controlling, conniving parents? Tax fraud? Robbery? A lingerie model who doubles as a pro tennis player in the middle of it all? Forget that Challengers movie, I need this on the big screen starring Sydney Sweeney. Netflix are you listening? The script writes itself.

Is Italy about to send their Carl Hanratty after her? A little 'Catch Me If You Can' sequel! Where in the world is Camila Giorgi?
