Phil Knight Is 86 Years Old And Desperately Wants To See A Championship, So He's Providing Oregon With Unlimited NIL Resources

Yeah, Oregon is on a fucking heater right now. Getting the #1 WR in the country, Dakorien Moore, earlier this week was the eye opener for some.....but they've been racking up big time recruiting wins all over the place recently. And there are some wild accusations as to how, ranging from bringing the biggest bags in the country to the NIL meetings to flying 18 year old recruits on private jets to even get to campus. And while some were speculating that the Nike money was behind all of it, there weren't really any reports saying so. Until now,  when Rick Neuheisel went on ESPN and said that Phil Knight is now 86 years old, has seen ZERO Oregon football National Championship wins, and is willing to provide unlimited resources to ensure he does.

I actually love it. I don't know how you could hate it? I see college football fanatics on the internet streets, including those from the great state of Ohio, barking that this is unfair. Ummm, what part is unfair? If we had a bajillionaire donor that would provide UNLIMITED amounts of NIL money to ensure we get the very best players in the country, we'd use him too. Until the rules change, congrats to Oregon for being able to do this. Pair that with Dan Lanning and they might just complete the prophecy that EA Sports made for this year's 12 team playoff.....

Not sure what's funnier:

- NC State being the #1 overall seed

- Rice being the G5 representative

- Texas Tech winning the Big 12

- Oregon beating Ohio State 42-20, the exact score of the 2014 title but reversed....and obvious troll job from pro-Michigan EA Sports

......or maybe the funniest thing to me is that while Oregon has unlimited funds and is flying dudes to meetings to offer them ungodly amounts of money at 18 years old, all so 86 year old Phil Knight can finally see a title, so he's willing to do ANYTHING to bring in the best players......that Oregon is still 3rd in the rankings.

Go Bucks.
