GIRL FIGHT! A Rutgers Women's Soccer Player Judo Tossed A Girl From UMass And Threw A Tyson-Like Haymaker

So I was watching the Rutgers vs. UMass women's' soccer match this afternoon, trying to meet my annual quota of one before football officially starts up, and I damn near fell off my couch when I saw these ladies acting.....well, they were acting un-ladylike! I haven't seen a fight like this since Jose Ramirez knocked Tim Anderson out cold last baseball season.

But those were boys being boys. Not the norm, but nothing that we've never seen before. But after watching this clip no less than 100 times, I'm not sure I've ever seen a legitimate brawl like this in a women's sport outside of MMA. And speaking of those 100 times I've watched this clip.....I still can't figure out who started it. From what I can tell, #2 from Rutgers fouled the girl from UMass. Ref calls it and another UMass girl runs over to pick up the ball and play on. But the Rutgers girl keeps her foot on it, which made the Umass girl push a bit, which made the Rutgers girl push even more, which made the UMass girl push one more time.....then our sweet #2 hip tosses her to the ground and gets off one helluva punch. I guess none of it happens if #2 doesn't foul? But maybe if the UMass girl wouldn't have fucked around, she wouldn't have found out.......that Gia Girman can fucking fight.

5'2? Talk about a little ball of fury. She'd whoop my ass, I can tell you that. And if the MLS or whatever it's called doesn't work out for her, I think a nice future in the UFC could be in the cards. Rutgers fans are posting her NIL page if any of you want to jumpstart that career.

But as for the play at hand, I'm not sure what happens next. What's the going rate in women's soccer these days for whooping someone's ass? The clip makes it seem like they just had her walk off on her own. I'd have guess she may have needed more of a police escort after that move. Either way, Girman won the battle…..but it appears UMass won the war.
