I Woke Up At 2 AM To Be The First To Watch The Connor Stalions Documentary: Here's My Review

So I didn't expect much from the Netflix Documentary on the Connor Stalions sign stealing scandal that completely changed not just the landscape of college football but the way of life in this country as a whole, but I also know that if I didn't keep the people informed, then the crooked fake news media would shape the narrative for them. So I set my alarm for 2 am Central time, seeing as Netflix announced that it would be released at 3 am Eastern. Or so they said....

Kinda bullshit if you ask me. Seems like Michigan did everything within their power for this not to be released, because despite Stalions having a clear and obvious influence into how his story was portrayed, they still left damning evidence that showed he was a liar and that Michigan* cheated their way to a National Championship. From the fact that he created an espionage network to advance him from intern to full-time quickly, to the part where the coordinators were asking him for the plays, to the part where he was "rarely ever wrong", to the point where HARBAUGH GAVE HIM THE GAME BALL VS. IOWA.....

….it's clear as day that more than just Connor Stalions knew what he was doing. The fact of the matter is that Connor Stalions did whatever it took for Michigan to be successful, to the point where there's no doubt in my mind that he'd have died for Michigan if Harbaugh asked him to. But when shit hit the fan, he dove on the grenade for the program and is willing to be the sacrificial lamb, even if it means his career is over. And that's where I actually feel bad for him. It's clear that everyone knew, but he took the fall, and now they won't even talk to him….

And if that's where the doc ended, I would have a much different tune right now. But it continued, and his depositions in front of the NCAA reiterated that he's actually just a liar and a cheater. The 2 biggest lies told in the documentary are:

1. That he "doesn't recall" if he was on the sidelines with Central Michigan against Michigan State.

Meanwhile Dave Portnoy sells out Stalions immediately after by snitching that Connor told him himself that he was on the sideline….

And the NCAA has already determined it was Stalions. So how can we take anything else he says seriously if he's going to obviously lie about that?

And Lie #2: That he did send friends and family to other Big 10 games (during times that Michigan played) because he loved college football. Not to steal their signs. Not to film their sidelines……even though they did, and they sent him the tape. Source: him

But he tells the NCAA that he was just being nice by accepting those videos. According to Stalions, it's like when an Aunt gives you a shitty Christmas present, and you say Thank You to be nice. He accepted video tape of the other teams sidelines from Big 10 games he paid for his friends to go to…..because he was being nice.

Give me a fucking break. Those two lies right there invalidate the entire documentary. They wanted to make him look like a victim but it's clear he's not. It was supposed to be a puff piece but it turned out to do nothing more than further criminalize both Stalions and Michigan. All while using ONE Ohio State "fan" who hid behind a ski mask to try and make our fan base look crazy….

This entire thing was so scripted that I don't even hate Stalions right now. I don't hate Harbaugh right now. And I don't hate Michigan fans right now. The people I hate are the ones who are eating it up like it was a 100% true and fact checked, heart-felt feel-good story about a misunderstood kid. This is the problem with our society today. You watched one one-sided movie and your opinion is changed, despite all of the evidence saying otherwise.

Anyways, here's my official review of the doc:
