A New Era: For Basically The First Time Ever, Vanderbilt Had To Stop Letting Students Into The Stadium Because Of How Packed It Is
I can say with 100% confidence I've never seen this before at Vanderbilt. Their own fans showing up to a home game and having to turn students away. Now let me be clear. Never turn students away. They should have priority at any and every college event. Nothing worse than a college game quiet because it's all older boosters with deep pockets. I know money rules everything in college sports, but give me the student section, even at Vanderbilt.
Then again, Vandy probably doesn't know how to handle their own team doing shit like this
Or having a fun quarterback who also is decent
I've been to Vandy for a football game before. It was 75% Kentucky fans and not even during a 'great' era by Kentucky standards. Everyone just knew you could go to Nashville in the mid 2000s, have a good time and see your team play an 'away' game for cheap. Now they have to turn away students. Drop the academics and we might be able to call Vandy a real SEC school. I don't blame the students for rushing over when they jumped out to the 17-0 lead against Virginia Tech. Nearly a double digit dog and you have a chance for a win, weird things happen in Nashville.
