Cal Ripken Jr. Literally Turned Water Into Wine Last Night In The Splash Zone

September 6th will always be a holiday in Baltimore, a few special things happened on this particular date. The anniversary of Cal Ripken Jr. breaking Lou Gehrig's record for consecutive games played at 2,131 in a row, Eddie Murray hitting his 500th HR, and now it will also be known as the day Cal literally helped Jesus turn water into wine. To help honor the Iron Man's anniversary yesterday they had him as the guest splasher in the Bird Bath. "Iron Splash" made his debut and quickly doused the fans with water, as is tradition in the Bird Bath. A fun way for #8 to celebrate his milestone day and you know the fans loved it. He took pictures, signed autographs, even got a friendship bracelet upon entering the splash zone. But that wasn't the only cool thing that Cal did in the Bird Bath...

He ran into Orioles Jesus himself. This guy is a LEGEND. Hits a ton of games and likes to celebrate with a nice cold refreshment. This time he had some help from The Iron Man as he indulged in his celebratory drink. Cal helped Orioles Jesus turn water into wine. He stopped him right in his tracks and had him pour water into his cup. BAM. Wine in the glass. Seriously, what can't this guy do? Played a billion games in a row, won an MVP, Rookie Of The Year, World Series Champion, owns the team he grew up rooting for and now is literally turning water into wine. Never know what you're going to see out there in section 86.
