AJ Dybantsa, A 17-Year-Old High Schooler, Is Apparently Hearing Offers Between $7-$9 MILLION From Schools To Play Basketball

So Jeff Goodman said yesterday that he heard AJ Dybantsa is going to get somewhere between $7-$9 MILLION to go somewhere to play college basketball next season. I have a couple thoughts on this, but before I do, why don't I introduce who AJ Dybantsa is to 99.9% of the population since he's only a fucking high school senior right now.

Don't get me wrong....he's very good. He's the #1 prospect in the 2025 class, after he reclassified from the 2026 class. He's from Massachusetts originally, but he currently attends Utah Prep. Was on the 16u and 17u FIBA teams the past two years that won Gold medals, yada yada yada. ANYWAYS, good player.....but SEVEN TO NINE MILLION DOLLARS? Get the fuck outta here.

How many players in the history of college basketball have been worth 7-9 million? Let me say this: zero in real time. Now, was Michael Jordan worth $7 million over the long haul to North Carolina? Yes. Was Steph worth 7-9 to Davidson? Sure. But ain't no way this kid is bringing 7-9 million dollars of eyeballs to...where's he favored to go to? BYU!?!?!?!?

Kid ain't even Mormon! What kind of bag is BYU dragging around these days? Because everything about this kid tells me Duke, UNC, USC, etc....but he's favored to go to BYU???? It's obviously not a done deal, but that's crazy. Then again, there's no one on the planet (in high school) that would add nearly ten million dollars of value to the Duke brand, so they wouldn't offer him that. BYU might actually pay it.....even thought they shouldn't. What does Dybantsa going there do for them? He might be the best recruit in the country, but what are they, 4th in the Big 12 with him? Something doesn't add up. And nothing adds up to $9,000,000 for a few months of time before he goes to the NBA.....

Anyways, other topics discussed on the newest episode of the Mark Titus Show:

- Danny Hurley complains about UConn's #9 preseason ranking

- Bronny James is averaging 0.7 ppg through 3 preseason games

- Coen Carr dunks through the legs, over students, from the free throw line at Michigan State

- and why the fuck is Devin Booker acting like a Spartan???
