Mets Handle Their Damn Business In Game 2 And Head Back To New York Tied 1-1 In The NLCS

PUT IT IN THE BOOKS!!! Dodgers scoreless streak over and Dodgers homefield advantage over (at least for now). 

Francisco Lindor put one over the fence in the first inning just like I said he would.

Mark Vientos followed that up with one of my favorite grand slams of this playoffs after the Dodgers dared to walk the Mets MVP candidate to get to him. 

Not only is Vientos a stone cold killer, but he is COCKY!

Fuck yes. 

Sean Manaea did what he always does and continues to deliver. He lost control at the end and the Mets bullpen gave us the requisite agiata that comes with October baseball. But this is the exact spot I wanted to be in after last night's snoozefest.

Now the series heads to Citi Field, which is going to be an absolute zoo for Walker Buehler and company. You can't ask anymore from this team than continue to fight, which they refuse to stop doing. LFGM. Ya gotta believe.
