MAN DOWN: The College Gameday Kicker Blew Out His Knee Warming Up and Had To Call In a Backup
Oh no. We've seen a lot of bad misses from the kickers on College Gameday the last couple years, but Indiana is the first school to produce someone who looks like he tore a ligament warming up. Tough scenes.
This was bound to happen at some point, though. You make enough 21-year-old dudes who have been enjoying some adult beverages since 6 a.m. try to kick likely for the first time in their lives and someone was going to eat it eventually.
This guy's backup was given the chance to win both of them six figures, which would have been a pretty nice consolation after suffering an injury. Unfortunately, they walked away with one torn ACL and zero dollars.
