Eagles vs Commanders Needs To Be A "Loser Leaves Town" Game For Josh Harris
It's not very often that Thursday Night Football features one of the best games on the schedule. But that's what we have coming up this Thursday with the Eagles hosting the Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field. Two teams playing for 1st place in their division with plenty of playoff implications on the line. It's a massive game.
And it's going to a pretty big week at the South Philly Sports Complex for Josh Harris. He has the Sixers hosting the Knicks on Tuesday night, the Sixers hosting the Cavs on Wednesday night, and then the Commanders playing the Eagles on Thursday night. I'm actually shocked they weren't able to schedule the Devils playing at the Flyers for Friday night.
It's been pretty funny to me watching how much Commanders fans have been loving this new era under Josh Harris' ownership. I mean, I get it. Literally anything in the world would have been better than the previous dipshit who was in charge there. Things are looking up for the Commanders. They have a great young team led by a great young quarterback. There's plenty to be excited about there.
On the complete and total flip side, I don't think you could find a Sixers fan right now who wants anything to do with this clown. The Sixers have squandered any chance to ever be a legitimate contender, are about to break up the Sports Complex from having all 4 major Philly teams playing in the same location, and seem to be involved in a new investigation every week. I don't know how Devils fans feel about Josh Harris but to who gives a shit about Devils fans anyway.
There's a lot on the line for Thursday night's game as far as the standings go. But I still feel like there needs to be more on the line. This needs to be a game where Josh Harris finally makes a decision on where his true allegiance lies. If the Commanders win this game, then he owes it to the city of Philadelphia to get the hell out of town and sell the Sixers because clearly he cares more about building a football team than basketball. If the Eagles win this game, then he owes it to the city of Washington DC to sell the Sixers because clearly he's too focused on owning a basketball team to fully commit to rebuilding the Commanders.
Either way, Josh Harris leaves Philadelphia after this game. But it just depends on for what reason. Either way, one guy owning 3 different teams in 3 rivaling markets is a joke. And the fact that anybody is okay with this just blows my mind. Sell the damn team and take a hike.
