A Bizarre Scene - ASU's BJ Freeman Tried To Headbutt Caleb Love, Bobby Hurley Sent The Entire Bench To The Locker Room, Everyone Skipped The Handshake Line
Just a bizarre scene all around here at Arizona State. It started with the John Starks/Reggie Miller (flop) headbutt thing from Freeman to Love. That led to Love getting ejected because he kept screaming at Arizona State after this and got two technicals. Then you have Bobby Hurley sending the bench and coaching staff to the locker room before he stormed off. I get it's a rivalry and I don't even care about refusing to shake hands, just the whole scene is something you don't ever really see. Apparently i was a mutual decision
Not to mention 10 minutes in we got a Hurley technical and mid freakout decided the tie had to go
Love that move. Looked like a drunk dude at a wedding who decided it's time to hit the dance floor. Can't do it with the tie on and buttoned up all the way. The headbutt is weird, think we all can agree on that. If you're going to headbutt someone, you gotta commit. Can't halfass a headbutt, that's how you hurt yourself. Then again, I'm not exactly a headbutt guy. Seems like a bad idea, especially during a basketball game when we have 672 reviews for anything and everything. You can't stop like that, even if Love sells it.
Just one of the more bizarre scenes we'll see today. Arizona ends up winning, freakouts all over the place and basically a rivalry game taken to the next level here.
PS: Hurley just said this. My Lord, we're doing classless? Yeah, he's been influenced by K a bit too much with this sort of talk. You can't lose your mind and do classless talk.
