Paul George Will Have So Much More Time For Podcasting Now That He's Done For The Season

There have been so many catastrophic failures throughout the past 15 years of the Philadelphia 76ers organization. Andrew Bynum, Markelle Fultz, giving Tobias Harris a billion dollars, Ben Simmons straight up refusing to show up to work. Year after year after year, it seems like the 76ers just have the worst luck possible.
Then Paul George happened. And you know what? I'm starting to think it has nothing to do with luck anymore. Because when you're an organization who has repeatedly shown signs of having the worst medical staff in professional sports, and you go out and sign a 34-year-old with a massive history of injuries to a 4-year max contract? Well it's not unlucky that Paul George will miss 50% of the season this year. It's literally exactly what everyone assumed would happen.
That's not bad luck. That's just bad business.
Speaking of bad business decisions….
It was just 3 short weeks ago that Paul George decided he was going to step away from "Podcast P" to lock in on the Sixers' run in the postseason. Mind you, the Sixers have gone 3-8 since Paul George stopped podcasting. So maybe that wasn't the main issue after all. He could have been putting out new content this whole time and it wouldn't have mattered. Think about all the faithful listeners and subscribers who have been deprived of new Podcast P episodes to get them through the day. Think about all the missed ad reads. Paul George desperately needs to get his ass back into the podcast studio.
I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. And maybe this is the reason. Maybe the universe gave Paul George some knee injections to get him back on the mic. He was born to be a podcaster. The game of basketball was holding him back from achieving his pull potential, and now he just gets to focus on what matters the most--Podcast P.
Embiid out for the year. Paul George out for the year. I'm sure they'll figure out a way to keep Maxey off the floor for the rest of the year. 10 years later and the Sixers are still tanking. Maybe this time will be the time it finally works.
