Philip Rivers Is Interviewing For The Bills Head Coaching Job Today And Every NFL Fan Should Want Him To Get The Job

Oh hell yes. This is the news that we needed before we all get blasted with whatever snowstorm we're getting this weekend. One last hope for Josh Allen and the Bills. You don't need a former coach, one who was probably fired recently. No, you need a guy to talk to Josh Allen. You need a guy who can keep unlocking Josh Allen. You need Philip Rivers. You know it's serious considering Josh Allen is also sitting in on this interview:

Let me ask you this. It's the Divisional Round next year. The Bills are down by 4 with like 1:42 to go. Josh Allen has the ball on his own 30. Who do you want to see on the sidelines in this scenario? This guy?

Or this guy?

Yeah, I know my answer. I want the guy who got us through the 4pm slate by trying to do this same thing. I want the story of Philip Rivers taking over the Bills and being the one to break the curse. I don't need to see anymore interviews, I don't need to see Mike McDaniel talking about being a cold weather coach. Give me something new. Give us something that brings Twitter together, like a simple announcement that there's an interview.

So, make it happen. It would at least make everything funny, which is all we care about. We know at this point it's an entertainment league. The refs have no idea what the hell a catch is or how to spot a ball. We have flag after flag, ruining games. We have to listen to Tony Romo. Philip Rivers being the emergency Bills quarterback and head coach, that's the dream right there.
