Left It All Out There: Josh Allen Showed Up To Joe Brady's Press Conference Using Crutches, Played With A Broken Bone In His Foot Since Week 16
Josh Allen isn't the first quarterback to have an injury and play through it. But, if you're a Bills fan, how do you not grow more into the what-if game after seeing this? It's not just the crutches and boot, it's this report out there
The Browns game was December 21. He played four more games after that, two of which were obviously the playoffs. But if I'm a Bills fan I'm looking at this pass and immediately thinking if a broken bone had anything to do with it
That's the throw that lost the Bills the game. The Cooks thing is a disaster because no one still is 100% sure what a catch is. But you can't miss a guy this open who likely walks into the end zone. Now you see your quarterback in a boot and using crutches and you freak out. That's life as a Bills fan.
That said, being in a boot fucking stinks. I lived in mine for 6 months and it's awful. Nothing worse than trying to sleep with that thing on, you move your other leg a little bit and drill the velcro or part of the plastic and it just annoys you. You lug it around, if it's raining or snowing or anything like that you freak out about it coming in the toe opening. It's the worst. There's gotta be a better boot out there. I refuse to believe in 2026 we still have to all wear this clunky thing that has a pump on the side like it's the 90s Reebok Pumps.
I'll say it though. I want Josh Allen healthy. The NFL is better when good quarterbacks are playing. Bold of me, I know, but it's just how I think. Playing with a broken foot has to suck. Left it all out there. Time for Bills fans to believe for another year.
