Fuse - If you’re in the sweet spot of being a Blink-182 superfan and a cassette tape revivalist, this is your moment. We won’t even bother you with our thoughts about the questionable sound quality or durability of the medium. For a tidy $12 apiece, you can now pre-order 1997’s Dude Ranch, ’99’s Enema of the State, 2003’s Blink-182and the 2000 live album The Mark Tom and Travis Show. They all drop on Dec. 8 and are limited to 2,500 copies apiece, with three cassette designs available for each. (Hat-tip to Modern Vinyl for the news.) Hit SRC Vinyl to grab the Blink-182 tapes. Each one has a solid (previously published) writeup by Stephen Thomas Erlewine. Buddha, the band’s full-length 1994 demo, is already available for $10.

Probably the best investment you can make in 2015 is time travel. We have to be close, right? They’ve been talking about time travel since year 1, probably all like “imagine how LIT year 205 gonna be bruh?” before getting mauled by a tiger and dying. Well, if we do figure out time travel and you go back in time to the 80’s, Blink 182 has your ass covered. Cassette tapes. Didn’t realize you needed Blinks albums on cassette until just now, huh? Sure, you can get great quality by downloading off the Internet because we live in a miraculous time where a device that fits in the palm of your hand has the ability to play any and all music ever created….orrrrrrr you can buy a tape.

Pro: you own a tape, and not many other people own tapes. Con: you don’t own a tape player. Pro: if time travel is invented, you can take music with you back in time and blow people’s socks off. Con: You’ll disrupt the natural flow of history, therefor making Blink 182 never exist. Pro: Chicks dig retro. Con: If you own Blink 182 cassette tapes, you probably don’t talk to girls.
