Buffalo Grove Little League Puts Up Sign At All Fields Asking Parents To Be A Good Sport

I’m strictly on the fence with this one. Part of me says this is Pussification of America and part of me is actually in favor of this. The first two bullet points are spot on. There is nothing worse than hardo parents that scream and yell at little league games. Coaches can yell, that’s part of coaching, but parents sitting on the sideline with their lattes and lawn chairs? Fuck that. Those parents absolutely suck.

On the other hand though, that last paragraph is complete bullshit. That’s the losers mentality I was talking about the other day. If you say you probably won’t make it then you’ve already lost. You have no chance. I was slow as fuck in the 40. Embarassed myself. But even with that knowledge I think I could run a 4.7 if I really wanted to. That’s my honest thought process. Which is probably a little crazy but also the only way to think. If you’re not going to try why even play?  So fuck that last paragraph, that’s not the way America became the greatest country in the world, settling for mediocrity and fun and pressure free. All those things are overrated.
