The actual game may have sucked ass, but at least it was another fun year of props. Let’s run through each one.

PURE CHAOS.
This was my initial timing.
She was flying through it, looked like we’d come in with 10-15 seconds to spare…then came the final part I was nervous about, she held it forever, REPEATED lines, and it all came crashing down. Needless to say I was heartbroken.
Figured I lost, even crossed it off my prop sheet, when all of a sudden the rumors started trickling in on Twitter…that the fine print underneath the bet says “the first Brave”…
Sure enough, we got it.
Some sites paid out the over, but like I said in my own fine print, all lines are Bovada so they are the official ruling. 1 for 1 haters.

How many times will “dab” or “dabbing” be said by the announcers during the Broadcast?
I thought we had this one basically locked up all game, then just as I feared, Phil Simms hit us with a “Dab A Doo” out of nowhere…and who would have thought it was the Broncos that inspired it. That was all I heard but it was brought to my attention Nantz also pitched in one (couldn’t hear it because people had the audacity to talk at the Super Bowl party) so I believe this one was a push. Sucks.

How many times will Cam Newton do the Open Shirt Superman motion during the game?
Big fan of Cam and I was pulling for him, but the one upside of having a pretty brutal game and losing the Super Bowl from wire to wire…not a lot of time to do Superman celebrations.

Will Mike Carey be wrong about a challenge?
First loss of the night, and it was pretty brutal, because I’m almost positive Mike Carey was actually right about his call. I thought so, Nantz thought so, popular opinion thought so. Just kind of sucks not even getting to lose on a classic Carey horrible call that makes you consider if you he is actually legally blind. Probably karma for the Gaga win.

Which song will Coldplay play first during the Halftime show?
CHAOS AGAIN!
1 line from Yellow, then straight into Viva La Vida. Mass confusion. What’s the ruling there? To be completely honest I figured Yellow was the winner. I mean he sang a line from it. But, once again, I lucked out.
Also gotta shout this guy out. Ignored him because I get at least 200 of these “tips” for every single Coldplay song in their discography.

What color will Beyonce’s footwear be when she comes on stage for the Halftime show?
As we were trying to sort through the confusion of the Coldplay ruling, out came Beyonce wearing black AND gold shoes. Started to think the NFL was fucking with me on purpose.
Official word came quick for this one though, and I agree with it.
That gives us a hit on the “safe” bet and a miss on the “living on the edge” gold bet.

Who will the Super Bowl MVP mention first?
I obviously did my analysis on this one for Cam, but I honestly thought we’d have a better shot with Von once it became clear he was going to win it. Seemed like a religious guy to me, bunch of people on Twitter said he was at least. But, he went with his teammates first, which is respectable I guess. Have fun in hell though dude.
