Vandal New York May Be The Worst Restaurant In America

So the First Lady went out to dinner last night. Her and a bunch of her college friends. They made a reservation at some place called Vandal. The reservations was for 8pm. The restaurant even took their credit card info to make sure they didn’t cancel. Well she gets home at midnight. I was like what happened? She says they didn’t seat them for their reservation till 9:30. NINE FUCKING THIRTY. No apology. No nothing. Not even a free fucking drink. I guess this place is hot or something so they think they can get away with this madness. Hell they probably do it on purpose to make it seem busier than it really is. Create a buzz and a line like clubs do. I honestly didn’t know who I was more mad at. The First Lady for staying and letting herself get embarrassed like this or Vandal for the balls to pull a stunt like this. Only in NY would you see crap like this. An 8pm reservation turns into 9:30? I’m getting angry just writing this blog. Hey if you’re so fucking cool than don’t take reservations. First come first serve. That’s fine. But don’t fucking take them and then make people wait an hour and a half. I almost want to make it my mission to burn this place to the ground. Memo to New York. There is a new sheriff in town and I’m watching everybody and everything and I’m gonna rid this city of the trash that is places like Vandal. Not on my watch you don’t! Not on my watch!

PS – Lots of people were chirping me on twitter saying “Welcome to NY!” “You’re not in Boston anymore!” “They don’t need your business and could care less!”  “That’s what you get for trying to go to a popular NY restaurant!” I don’t even know what the fuck that means? If you don’t want to take reservations then don’t take them. But you can’t say 8pm and than sit you at 9:30. And for all you New Yorkers who seem to be proud of this it just shows what a cesspool you live in wehre you gladly let your dignity get trampled on and smile about it and just say “That’s just NY being NY” That’s how rats live.
