Hockey's Newest Black Fan Is Getting Hooked Up With Playoff Tickets By The Blues

I love how this has blown up so huge that the St Louis Blues are rolling out the red carpet for our boy Tony. His big “this shit lit bruh” has TWENTY FOUR THOUSAND retweets. He’s gained like 18,000 followers. SoIoucity has gone viral in this bitch. And the funniest part about it is that it proves how lame we, as hockey fans, are. Literally losing our fucking minds because a black dude from the midwest likes us. I love Tony and am happy to have him on board, don’t get that twisted, but how goddamn nerdy are we that we go NUTS over a black guying giving us some validation? We’re like a little freshman dork in high school who a senior just told, “Hey you’re a pretty cool dude,” and it’s the fucking best day of our lives. A BLACK GUY LIKES US! HE REALLY, REALLY LIKES US!!!!

Again, I think it’s awesome and I too am one of those losers who got excited/a kick out of this. But it’s a bit of a commentary on the whiteness and lameness of hockey fans in general.

Nonetheless, if Tony is getting hooked up for just liking something white, I’m gonna start tweeting about black shit and hoping to get an invite myself. Rucker Park! Family reunions! Cookouts! Dancing on beat! Jordan releases! Someone invite me to that kind of shit and roll out the red carpet, it’s only fair.
